WSI enters Round Ireland Yacht race 2008

WSI, the world’s leading provider of Internet Marketing solutions, has announced that it will sponsor a yacht in this year’s Round Ireland Yacht Race which starts on June 21st. The exciting event is a non-stop sailing race around Ireland that takes almost a week to complete. In addition to being the highlight of the sailing calendar in Ireland, it is also ranked as one of the top 3 offshore races in the world.

There is a lot of excitement around this year's race with Ger O'Rourke's Volvo 70 and super maxi yacht Leopard included in the 46 yacht line up.

The race record of 3 days 4 hours 23 minutes and 57 seconds still stands having been set by Colm Barrington ten years ago.

The WSI yacht, also known as "Pepperbox", acheived third place overall in the 2006 Round Ireland Yacht race.
